Emma and James Wedding - Kingscote Barn on Friday, 25 March 2011

Great fun was had by all last Friday at the wedding of Emma and James.  We collected the beautiful bridesmaids from the Cottage within the grounds of Kingscote Barn and travelled with them to St. Mary's Church in Wotton under Edge, and then returning for Emma, her mother and sister.  Claire Dibble the harpist at www.clairedibble.co.uk was responsible for the bridal march and how lovely it was too!  We then took a leisurely trip travelling with the hood down back to Kingscote Barn where refreshments were enjoyed by all.  So nice to meet Adam Drake from www.adamdrakephotography.co.uk and we look forward to receiving a photo of the lovely couple shortly.  Enjoy Mauritius!

Renee & Matt's Wedding - Saturday, 19 March 2011

What a beautiful day for a wedding and what a wedding!!!  Renee and Matt hired our entire fleet of three matching ivory convertibles for their wedding at St. John's church in Keynsham with each car having champagne to enjoy as we left the church....and all passengers were able to enjoy the sunshine with the hoods down too!  How great was that!  Reception at Cadbury House in Congresbury what stunning photographs.  Here are a few just sent through from William and his daughter from Soft Tones Photography at softtonesphotography.co.uk, thank you so much!  Congratulations to Renee and Matt and enjoy Mexico on Tuesday!!

***New Deposit Scheme Available****

After receiving several requests from brides and grooms regarding payment of deposits, we are pleased to advise all clients that deposits may now be paid over a two month period as opposed to a single payment.

Those couples wishing to reserve a single car may now pay £50.00 as an initial booking fee and a final booking fee of £50.00 may be paid the following month.

For those wishing to reserve a matching pair of cars, you may now pay a single payment of £100.00 followed by a second payment of £100.00 the following month.

All payments continue to be paid by either a cash settlement, cheque made payable to Englands Finest Cars or by debit or credit card.  Debit cards are free but Cardsave charge a 1.55% fee for usage of all credit cards.

Final balances are payable by one month before the wedding and we forward a reminder to you approximately five to six weeks before the date.  Alternatively, payments may be settled by a single payment or several before this time.

We hope this has helped couples in some way to alleviating the 'paying out' process which often appears to be all at the same time and all in the same month!

We very much look forward to hearing from you regarding booking your fairy tale ivory convertible for some select dates still available this year and for 2012 and beyond!

Natalie & Tom's Wedding - Saturday, 5 March 2011

The sun shone on Saturday for Natalie and Tom's wedding at Tracy Park at Wick.  I have been advised by Michelle, who was their chauffeuse, that little five year old Alfie their son gave his mum away at the alter at Marshfield Church, and when asked 'who gives this woman away' confidently replied 'I DO!'  I believe Michelle could have taken Alfie home with her as he was SO cute!  Photography taken by the ever smiling Suzie Davidson Kelly at www.sdkphotography.co.uk and a big thank you for forwarding it to us so promptly and we look forward to working with you again soon - girl power!!!  Congratulations to the happy couple too!

Sarah and Connor's wedding - Some Pre-Christmas Photos

What a lovely couple.  We had the privilege of providing a matching pair of cars for Sarah and Connor's wedding on Sunday, 19 December 2010 at The Mercure Holland Hotel in Central Bristol.


As you may all recall, the snow had been falling at that time and collecting them from home was quite an achievement as the roads had not been gritted, but hey we are women and can do anything!!  All the main roads were of course clear of snow which made for a very pleasant and relaxing journey to the Hotel where they were married.  Great to work again with husband and wife team Reid and Tricia from Carlton Photography at www.carltonphoto.co.uk, who have provided a couple of their superb photographs of the day, many thanks.  Our thanks to Sarah's father who also arranged for myself and Val to have a cup of hot coffee on the day, and may we extend our congratulations to Sarah and Connor.

College House Wedding Fayre on College Green

What a very grand venue, never actually been inside the College House before today and I must say I was very impressed.

Unfortunately, the wedding fayre was a very quiet affair and we didn't really have an opportunity to speak with many couples as  not many came through to see us all!

A real shame as there were a good range of wedding services inside ranging from bridal dresses, to photographers, videographers, mother of the bride outfits, jewellery, a superb violist and several car hire companies too plus two fashion shows!
