Lisa and Michael's Wedding at Leigh Court

Always a memorable experience attending a wedding at Leigh Court  as I was married there myself some sixteen years ago and it is such a 'magical' place.

It was therefore great to be re-visiting this prestigious wedding venue on Friday, 30 March for Lisa and Michael's ceremony here, followed by their wedding reception at The Hilton Hotel in Almondsbury.

I managed to take a couple of images on my mobile during our time at Leigh Court, so please excuse the non-professional attempt at me trying to be a photographer!  Laura who was their designated wedding photographer on the day took some wonderful images of the wedding, but alas I was unable to ask for some of her images at the event.

Although the weather on Friday was EXTREMELY chilly, the couple braved the bitterly cold day for photographs outside the venue and even left Leigh Court with the hood down for some wonderful images, quickly stopping to put the hood back up on our exit and enjoying the spectacular views across the Clifton Suspension Bridge en route to the reception venue.

Thank you to this lovely couple for reserving their wedding transport from Englands Finest Wedding Cars and enjoy your family honeymoon in June!

Wedding at Chewton Place in Keynsham 8 March 2013

What a wonderful wedding today at the beautiful Chewton Place in Keynsham, such a great wedding venue set in a stunning location with superb customer care by Rebecca, Vicky and the team.  If  you are still looking for a wedding venue take a look at http://www.chewtonplace.co.uk

The details were so wonderful today - perfection actually, but no surprise I guess as Hannah and Teresa had put a lot of effort into getting the finishing touches just right!

A real pleasure to have been involved in their wedding this afternoon and we would like to extend our sincere congratulations to them.

Will look forward to receiving some amazing reminders of the day from Lora at http://www.loratucker.co.uk

Wedding at The Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester

What a great couple....Erica and Andy were recently married on Saturday, 16 February 2013 at the beautiful chapel within the Royal Agricultural College at http://rac.ac.uk/conferences-events/weddings, and as we drove up the long drive with Erica and her daughter Emily, you could reflect on how wonderful this venue really is.

We also met Phil from A. D. Rains Coaches for the first time, with one of their vintage buses and I just couldn't resist taking a couple of photos on my mobile to share with you all!

Best thing is they travel to the Bristol area and have two of these beauties plus modern coaches too - give them a call on 01666 510874 or visit their website at http://www.adrainscoaches.com.

Following some 'private' photographs within the grounds with their photographer, Tonya, we travelled onto The Horse & Guards Public House in Brokenborough where they had arranged for a marquee and several live music events to be held throughout the day, sounded like great fun!!

As we travelled via the high street in Tetbury, Erica asked for us to drop the hood for the rest of the journey to the reception venue, they arrived suitably refreshed!!

Very best wishes to this great couple!

Picturesque winter wedding at Orchardleigh

It is a good job we arrive early at our weddings, as the car was absolutely covered in mud following our journey through Bath to the beautiful Orchardleigh Estate near Frome on Friday, 1 February 2013.

Just enough time to clean off the 'brown stuff' and make good, before the bride and her family departed from the manor house and travelled to the very pretty church within the grounds, which is set on an island with a pathway across.

We need all the help we could muster to keep the beautiful bridal gown from getting dirty on the way into the church, and may we just take this opportunity to thank the wonderful bridesmaids that were on hand to help!

After yet another cleaning session, the car was ready to take Rebecca and Daniel and their photographer, the lovely Lydia from Lydia Stamps Photography to enjoy some 'private romantic' photos within the grounds of the estate.

Did I mention that the day was muddy and rather chilly?  Well, the bride came well prepared and wore some wonderful winter fur lined wellies to ensure her feet were nice and warm!  Below is a photo of her bridal shoes however, just before we returned to the manor house.

Here is a direct link to one of the wonderful images taken by Lydia with the couple at 'the arches' within the grounds - what a great photograph for the album!
