Wedding at The Watersky Restaurant on Saturday, 30 March 2013

After many emails with the groom and a recent viewing of the wedding car, we felt we were on 'best friend terms' with Alan and it was lovely to actually meet his bride on Saturday and spend time with both the bride and groom prior to the ceremony at 4pm at The Watersky Restaurant.

Conforming to traditional chinese custom, the groom arrived at the bride's parents address early that morning to 'serve tea' with his bride to her parents and close family, and we arrived to take them both onto the grooms parents home in Stoke Gifford where they both 'served tea' to the bride's parents.

With Stewart Clark Photography present to capture the events on camera plus two videographers too, it was wonderful to see another tradition played out and to be a part of this custom.  Below is an image taken on my mobile showing Stewart and videographer in action!

Afterwards, we travelled with the couple to Clifton Suspension Bridge where they enjoyed some photographs on this very, very cold Saturday.

After putting the hood back up, we travelled across the bridge onto the Watersky Restaurant where the majority of family photographs were taken with the car prior to their 4pm wedding ceremony.

Congratulations to this really lovely couple and it was a privilege to be a part of your special day.
