Recent wedding at The Kendleshire Golf Club

We received some lovely images from Rich McD Photography based in Chipping Sodbury, Bristol following our wedding together at The Kendleshire Golf Club on Saturday, 30 March 2013.

Emma and James were married at this venue and also held their wedding reception here too.

Although a rather chilly day, the couple enjoyed a spin in the car together and we were also asked to take the hood down on the car for photographs, so we did just that!

Congratulations to a lovely couple and a big thank you to Richard their photographer.

Great idea for childrens parties and for 'baby imprints'!

The Crafty Monkey Studio based in Oxford Street, Weston super Mare (just off the seafront) has recently been taken over by Gemma and Kevin and is a fantastic place for children to have some fun!

Paint  your Own Pottery is a great way for them to enjoy working with paints, and they have over 100 items to chose from  such as mugs, plates, money boxes, animals etc. to paint and decorate and then they are glazed and fired in the onsite kiln and ready for collection.

Pottery Painting Parties are also available, for more information visit http://www.craftymonkeystudio.co.uk/party-packages/pottery-painting.html

Build a Bear is also a favourite for 3-8year olds and older children love cuddly toys too.  Chose the teddy bear from a wide range, chose the stuffing and the star for your teddy and decorate a tea-shirt with gems and pens.

How about a Build a Bear Party, for more information visit http://www.craftymonkeystudio.co.uk/party-packages/build-a-bear.html

Baby Imprints and Impressions available for babies and toddlers for both hands and feet prints with 3D artwork created also, a great present for grandparents or mum /dad, especially for mothers or fathers day!!

Hand and footprints are also available in silver jewellery which are great for a gift or a baby shower!

You can contact Gemma on 01934 417144 or 07786 666363 for more details.

Wedding at The Watersky Restaurant on Saturday, 30 March 2013

After many emails with the groom and a recent viewing of the wedding car, we felt we were on 'best friend terms' with Alan and it was lovely to actually meet his bride on Saturday and spend time with both the bride and groom prior to the ceremony at 4pm at The Watersky Restaurant.

Conforming to traditional chinese custom, the groom arrived at the bride's parents address early that morning to 'serve tea' with his bride to her parents and close family, and we arrived to take them both onto the grooms parents home in Stoke Gifford where they both 'served tea' to the bride's parents.

With Stewart Clark Photography present to capture the events on camera plus two videographers too, it was wonderful to see another tradition played out and to be a part of this custom.  Below is an image taken on my mobile showing Stewart and videographer in action!

See more information about Stewart at http://fb.com/scphotographyuk

Afterwards, we travelled with the couple to Clifton Suspension Bridge where they enjoyed some photographs on this very, very cold Saturday.

After putting the hood back up, we travelled across the bridge onto the Watersky Restaurant where the majority of family photographs were taken with the car prior to their 4pm wedding ceremony.

Congratulations to this really lovely couple and it was a privilege to be a part of your special day.

Davinya & Christopher's wedding at Chewton Place

We received a call from Davinya the week before the wedding just to confirm with me that they were still scheduled to hold their wedding reception at Chewton Place on Friday, 5 April, and that in fact they would be the very last wedding at this venue with Rebecca and her team of wedding professionals.

It is so very sad that this beautiful wedding venue, only about two miles away from my home and where I enjoyed my own birthday bash last July with family and friends, is now due to close.  Rebecca, Terry and Vicky and the team are such a wonderful team and really turned this venue around winning awards with Trip Advisor in less than a year from opening again after the crash in December 2011.  Myself and all the team at Englands Finest Cars wish them well.

Davinya looked wonderful and we managed to take some images on our mobile to capture the flavour of the wedding.  Congratulations!

Friday, 5 April 2013 - Lisa & Adam's wedding

We always love receiving recommendations, and Adam's sister had used us a couple of years ago and gave our details to them when they were looking into wedding transport, so a big thank you from me!

It was a pleasure to be involved in their wedding last Friday and they were SO lucky with the weather, still the chilly wind but dry and sunny and we even enjoyed the last part of the trip after they were married with the hood down for our 'entrance' back to the venue with family and friends!

Lisa is a nanny and has been with her present family for over eight years, and both children were bridesmaid and pageboy on their special day.

Enjoy your time this week in Tenerife - I'm sure it will be a lot warmer there than here!

Interior Photographs

Our fleet of cars consists of three matching ivory convertibles, but only one car has two additional tip-up seats that fold down to face the rear seat.

We take this opportunity to show you this particular car which may be useful if needing to transport two small flower girls or two small page boys in addition to your adult bridesmaids.

The age range for these seats is from age three years to around ten years of age.

And for your 'lady chauffeuse'......

What a view......
