It is always a challenge to take on a wedding at Bath Abbey because of the logistics of driving onto the pavement amongst the crowds of spectators often queuing at The Roman Baths next door to the Abbey, without managing to run over peoples toes, and this wedding was no exception!
We provided two journeys from Darlington Place nearby to Bath Abbey on Saturday, 2 May for Pauline and Christopher's wedding and although not overly warm and sunny it was dry and so we managed to take the hood down as requested by the bride to depart.
As we left the couple enjoyed lots of attention from their guests and also the vast crowd of spectators and tourists that had gathered whilst the ceremony was taking place, and the new Mr & Mrs D-G really did have a wonderful send off!
Throughout, the wedding was captured by the very professional Leon from Leon Day Images who is a preferred wedding photographer at The Bath Spa Hotel and he has kindly forwarded these wonderful images of the day for us to show.
