Bath Chronicle's 'Win a Wedding' Competition - Wedding on Sunday, 21 February 2016
Once again it was a great pleasure to be involved in the Bath Chronicle's 'Win a Wedding' Competition worth £12,000.
During July 2015, the winners were announced.....click here to see them in the Bath Chronicle, and last Sunday we were lucky enough to meet them in person at their wedding.
Englands Finest Wedding Cars collected Sarah and father of the bride from her parents home in Coombe Down in Bath and travelled across the Bathampton toll bridge (free of charge for us!) to the beautiful Bailbrook House in Bath where Sarah and Michael were married.
Afterwards, we took the new Mr & Mrs Dunn with their wedding photographer, Danielle Love, to Sydney Gardens situated next to the Holburne Museum in Bath, where they enjoyed some 'private' images.
Sunday was a wet rather chilly day but thankfully the rain stopped as they enjoyed photos in Sydney Gardens just in time to put the umbrellas away for a short while, until the rain came back for our return journey to Bailbrook House with final photographs before our departure.
A lovely couple to meet and provide our wedding car 'free of charge' and it was also really nice to meet Danielle for the first time from Love Photography.
Since the wedding we have received these lovely comments from Mrs Dunn.....
."Thank you so much to Jayne for collecting me and taking me to my wedding . You made me feel more relaxed during quite a nerve racking time. The car was beautiful, and you always made sure my dress and I were ok! Then we went on for a drive and stopped for photos and again, well prepared with the umbrella and wrap it was lovely thank you . We had a great day x

Monday's wedding at Orchardleigh Manor House with Genna & Steve

"The car was perfect - Steve sorted it out and I was so
pleased when I saw it on the day - beautiful!"
Following recent conversations with Steve the groom, it was great to meet the man in person last Monday before he left with 'the boys' for the beautiful 'island' church within the grounds of Orchardleigh.
As guests began to congregate at the Manor House awaiting the vintage bus that had been hired to take them all to the church, they realised after a while that it was not turning up and so three range rovers and a minibus were supplied by the team at Orchardleigh Estate.
As the final group of guests departed, we made our way down to the church with Genna's bridesmaids and then returned to collect Genna and her father, arriving only twenty five minutes after the official 2pm start.
Below is an image showing the arrival of Genna and her father as we drove the final part of the journey to St. Mary's church. An intimate little church set on an island with a bridge decorated in the same flowers and voile.
After the ceremony, their photography and videography team Jake from Ryan Welch photography
spent some time at the church taking some gorgeous private photos of the newly weds, colours are fantastic!

After, we travelled at leisure back to the Manor House at Orchardleigh where further images were taken with the car on arrival, notice that we travelled with the hood down in late October!
Congratulations to a truly wonderful couple, I hope you enjoy a very happy life together and thank you so much for your lovely comments recently received and for the images from your day, very much appreciated!

Beautiful wedding at The Manor House in Castle Combe on Saturday, 29 August 2015
Fabulous wedding yesterday enjoyed at the fairytale venue, The Manor House, in the pretty cotswold village of Castle Combe, with Alexandra and Bruce.
Warning - all photos currently supplied by myself, taken by myself on my mobile, to create a 'flavour' of the day. Wedding photographer, Adam Drake Photography, to forward some 'professional' images shortly.
Here we are with two very beautiful companions from Carriages by Midnight based in Devizes, look at the inquisitive face on this handsome boy - the horse of course!
Here we are pictured below waiting whilst the bride and groom are married at the pretty St. Andrew's Church in the village - with many spectators just waiting to catch a glimpse of the happy couple.
On our return to the Manor House, guests enjoyed canapes and champagne and awaited the arrival of the bride and groom.
And here they are!

Shelley and Daniel get married in style on the SS Great Britain
Wonderful wedding with Shelley and Daniel at the SS Great Britain last Friday, 28 August 2015
Please note photos were snapped by myself using my mobile......I think you can just get a 'flavour' of the day but I apologise that they are not 'professional' images!
Shelley and her father enjoyed some pre-shots with their photographer, Keith, at the Clifton Suspension Bridge before the wedding.
After, we travelled onto The SS Great Britain for the ceremony, with a cheeky photo taken over the shoulder of their photographer, Keith Smith, on our arrival!
Holly and the team at this venue gave me a great welcome and I even enjoyed a very nice coffee whilst waiting!
Here are Shelley and Daniel just before we left to travel onto their reception venue at The PBA Club in Shirehampton - and minutes before the heavens opened and the hood was very quickly put up!
If you would like a quotation for wedding cars in bristol, please get in touch!

BEAUTIFUL WEDDING AT BATH ABBEY
It is always a challenge to take on a wedding at Bath Abbey because of the logistics of driving onto the pavement amongst the crowds of spectators often queuing at The Roman Baths next door to the Abbey, without managing to run over peoples toes, and this wedding was no exception!
We provided two journeys from Darlington Place nearby to Bath Abbey on Saturday, 2 May for Pauline and Christopher's wedding and although not overly warm and sunny it was dry and so we managed to take the hood down as requested by the bride to depart.
As we left the couple enjoyed lots of attention from their guests and also the vast crowd of spectators and tourists that had gathered whilst the ceremony was taking place, and the new Mr & Mrs D-G really did have a wonderful send off!
Throughout, the wedding was captured by the very professional Leon from Leon Day Images who is a preferred wedding photographer at The Bath Spa Hotel and he has kindly forwarded these wonderful images of the day for us to show.
If you are still looking for a wedding photographer, please do take a look at Leon Day's website by clicking here, he offers wedding photography throughout the Bristol, Bath and South West areas, you will not be disappointed.

Our first wedding of 2015!
It was a great pleasure to be working alongside the lovely Stewart Clarke Photography again for our first wedding of the year, especially as we closed the year with our last wedding of 2014 with him also!
And here they are at their reception venue, the Alveston House Hotel....and the sun is still shining!
Photographs supplied by Stewart, which just goes to show that we can have sunshine in this country in January!! (Although I would recommend thermal underwear to be on the safe side!)
For more information about Englands Finest Cars please click here.
These photos show the story of the day unfolding, with Jenni arriving at the church before she exits the car and joins her father to walk down the aisle.
This shows the father of the bride arriving with the second car in attendance outside the church.
And, after Jenni and Michael are married as they set off on their extended journey to their reception venue, in style of course!

Recent 'Top Secret' Wedding at Berkeley Castle
Sworn to secrecy and were all the other wedding suppliers, we were recently involved in a surprise wedding for the bride and as it turned out for the father of the bride also, as the whole day had been planned in its entirety by the groom!
Arriving at the rather secluded Stinchcombe Hill House near Dursley the night before, we arrived to collect Cally and her father and take them to their secret destination.
The old farmhouse was situated at the top of the hill with some beautiful views and quirky interior, and this is us as we arrived talking to the bride's sister, her twin bridesmaid.
As we set off we were asked to pop into the local Country Park as an opportunity to confuse everyone, and were greeted by one of the grooms colleagues who happened to work there, that they were not ready for us and we had to go for a tour!
As we arrived at the gatehouse to Berkeley Castle which was the secret destination the bride and father of the bride had no idea where they were and so the gatesman advised them both - thankfully they were so so pleased!
The courtyard was dressed with flowers and candles and everyone was very emotional as the doors opened into the Main Hall and they were greeted with all their friends and family.
Images supplied by the award winning Mango Photography.
Mr & Mrs M Congratulations!
